How does transport from Germany work?

Who is liable for transport damage?

All transports are insured. In case of damage during transport, we handle the claim with the insurer. You bear no risk.

Who pays VAT?

For B2B transactions (company with valid VAT ID) — intra-community acquisition, you account for VAT in your country. For private individuals — VAT is included in the purchase price (you pay it to the seller in Germany).

Can I inspect the machine before buying?

Yes! We can arrange an on-site inspection at the seller in Germany or carry out a video inspection. The cost depends on the location.

What payment methods are available?

You pay for the machine directly to the seller (bank transfer). The transport service you pay to Hutnia after delivery — bank transfer, Przelewy24 or BLIK.

How long does delivery take?

Typically 3-7 working days after purchase confirmation. Depends on distance and machine size. Special transport (oversize) may take longer.

Can I order transport to Ukraine or Kazakhstan?

Yes, we organise transport to most European countries and to Kazakhstan. Prices and timing agreed individually. NOTE: We do NOT deliver to Russia or Belarus (EU sanctions).

Does Hutnia sell the machines itself?

No. Hutnia is an intermediary and transport service. We aggregate offers from German platforms and organise the import. The seller is always a specific company or person in Germany.
